Fiona Carthy – Managing Director
Fiona has 25 years experience as a senior marketing and communications specialist in both the education and public sectors in the UK and Australia/New Zealand. Having worked with leading institutions and brands Fiona’s extensive experience means she brings up to date knowledge and understanding to every project that delivers results.
Her understanding of funding and the economic landscape helps translate strategic concepts into realistic operational actions. Fiona is adept at developing strategy and providing insight and guidance to senior executives and governors as well as clarity about implementation and delivery.

Laura Boundy – Marketing Consultant
With over 13 years in-house, agency and freelance experience Laura brings a wealth of expertise to the Carthy Communications mix. She has worked across an exciting range of both B2B and B2C industries including colleges, global academic publishing, public sector and digital agency.
Laura offers our clients a dynamic suite of skills from strategy delivery, managing large projects (campaigns, websites) and digital strategy to team mentoring and recruitment.

Claire Rogers – Marketing Consultant
Claire is a highly qualified and experienced marketing and advertising specialist. With over 10 years’ national and international experience in the UK and Australia, Claire has worked both in-house in colleges and training providers and in a number of marketing agencies.
Claire’s expertise in managing multi brands, digital marketing, web development projects, campaigns and project management delivers strategic results for our clients.

Meg Bullock – Marketing Consultant
With a background in the arts and culture sector Meg brings a different approach to marketing. After completing her degree in Fine Art she went to work for both Tate Modern and Tate Britain. Meg has since worked in colleges and more recently in a digital agency servicing both B2C and B2B clients.
Meg’s talkative and inquisitive nature makes social media the perfect partner. An expert on all platforms, she uses social media to connect and get to the heart of the brand. In 2017 the college Meg worked in-house for secured ‘Best Instagram Performance, College Category’ and ‘Best Overall Social Media Presence’ in the Edurank Awards.
Charlie Carthy – Creative Media Manager
Charlie is our creative mind helping to develop visual content for clients including photography, video, animations and creative content. With a passion for photography, film making and animation, he brings creativity and technical knowledge to our team.
Charlie also has experience working in the FE sector where he taught Media Production.

Lynn Cowley – Office Manager
Lynn is an experienced business administrator, having worked in a variety of customer focussed environments, ranging from the film industry to retail. She also ran her own business in the leisure industry for over 15 years providing a bespoke tuition experience. With a strong financial background and key organisational skills, Lynn provides a solid and reliable anchor to support the Carthy Communications team.
Jane O’Keeffe – Senior Marketing Consultant
With over 20 years of experience in-house, agency and freelance experience, Jane brings a wealth of expertise to the Carthy Communications mix. She has worked across a broad range of brands during her career in advertising including Levi’s, British Airways and Unilever and latterly was a Global Managing Partner at Ogilvy & Mather. Jane also worked as a Marketing and Communications specialist advising government departments, managing multiple specialist agencies and co-ordinating the implementation of large-scale integrated campaigns for HMRC, Department of Health and the Home Office.
More recently, Jane was the Director of Marketing and Communications at Forest School in North East London, one of England’s largest independent schools. At Forest she was a member of the Senior Leadership Team and was responsible for leading the development and implementation of an integrated marketing strategy to meet the objectives of the school’s five-year strategic development plan. Her remit encompassed; advertising, PR, stakeholder engagement, termly newsletters, responsibility for the website, digital campaigns and all aspects of social media marketing.
Jane has been working as a consultant at Carthy Communications for the last year and brings a broad range of skills as a marketing specialist with considerable experience working at a senior level in multidisciplinary environments with multiple stakeholders.
